Caution! Processing, releases vapours or fumes containing aliphatic and possibly aromatic hydrocarbons, which may cause respiratory tract irritation. Avoid breathing these fumes and vapours. Process materials using adequate ventilation.
Practically non-harmful. First Aid not normally required. If symptoms persist consult doctor.
5 Fire-fighting measures
CO2, powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam.
6 Accidental release measures
7 Handling and storage
No special precautions other than the good industrial hygiene practices employed with any industrial chemical.
Good storage stability, but avoid extremes of temperatures and humidty in order to minimize compaction of soft grades. Excessive weight may also induce compaction.
8 Exposure controls/personal protection
The product does not contain any relevant quantities of materials with critical values that have to be monitored at the workplace.
The usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals.
Provide ventilation above processing equipment , to remove any hydrocarbon vapours and dust. avoid breathing in process fumes, since they may cause irritiation to the respiratory tract. During Processing: Fumes can be slightly irritating to eyes and respiratory tract if no ventilation is provided. Safety spectacles and heat resistant gloves are recommended since process temperatures are up to and around 200C.

12 Ecological information
• Information about elimination (persistence and degradability):
Assesment : Not classified as harmful. Biodegras slowly, therefore spills should be swept up into containers for re-use or disposal.
13 Disposal considerations
Alternatively , burn small quantities in an approved incenerator, charging carefully. Landfill is an option, with negligible potential problems due to long term leaching. Care should be taken to ensure compliance with EC, national and local regulations.
